This page is for people interested in registering a stall at the Hāti Nāti Māori Kai Festival in Ruatoria 9am-3pm on Saturday 4 February.
The event is receiving significant national promotion and provides an ideal opportunity for Coasties to share their skills in preparing traditional kai and testing the market for new and old dishes. A permanent website will be established to provide an overview of the stallholders, the stories behind the kai and information for visitors on what else they can do while visiting the East Coast.
We’re also looking for performers willing to share their talents with the Festival patrons. This is a Para Kore, Zero Waste event.
Stall holders may need a Council permit if they are selling food – the forms to apply for a stall license and other information for selling at public events are available on the GDC website here.
